They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American Clarence Tillman (196-1990, college: N.Georgia) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import guard DAngelo Elliott (196, college: Temple JC) contributed with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Victor Torres (189-1995) answered with 23 points and 6 rebounds for Santiago Max. LDC Ignite maintains third place with 4-7 record having three points less than leader Georgia P. Santiago Max at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. An interesting game for Immortals (9-0) which hosted in Santiago second-ranked Verano (2-5). Leader Immortals had an easy win 103-82. Malvin Payero nailed 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Raul Torres came up with 30 points for Verano in the defeat. Undefeated Immortals have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-0 record. Verano lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the second position with five games lost. Immortals' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Santiago Santiago Max.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 5: Del Patio was smashed by LDC Ignite on the road 97-77. Del Patio won against Santiago Basket on its own court 108-91. Verano unfortunately lost to Santiago Max in a road game 65-70. Verano recorded a loss to Santiago Basket at home 97-109.
The most impressive performance of 5th round was 35 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds by Jalen Crowder of Santiago Basket.
